If you want to work full time, part time, or just some casual work to supplement your income, it is worth working toward your taxi licence, and my aim is to ensure that your journey to become a cabbie is less fraught and more enjoyable. If you have not already noticed by now, Edinburgh is now a major world player when it comes to tourism and hosting major international events. Each year sees a jump in the number of visitors to our beautiful capital city and this is great news for the taxi trade.
The Edinburgh Taxi Academy will lead you through all the pitfalls and legal issues with regards what is required to gain your licence and become a Black Cab taxi driver in Edinburgh. We will not only teach you all the required streets, routes, hotels, etc, but also encourage you to become a better and more thoughtful driver. We provide all the information,help and guidance to get you through the exam set by Edinburgh Council. There are 3 experienced taxi drivers with a wealth of Knowledge in class to help and coach you along. Its a marathon not a sprint and we will be along side every step of the way. There is no substitute for this.
